Why do men leave the toilet seat up!

Just get a urinal and a normal toilet - then you can leave the seat down all the time!

My friend has trained her hubby to sit down rather than stand.  Also, the lid should be down on flushing shouldn't it to stop germs escaping into the air?

I don't as I always sit down to pee!! The reason being I have 3 piercings down there and I am like a garden sprinkler if I stand.
