People seem to think it's just lately this is happening. Someone threatened to slit my throat a few years back. Another user found out my address and my EX boyfriends name.

This is a computer website and, therefore, the "death threat" you allude to simply means knobby wants to "kill" your name & posts.

If knobby made a death threat then he means what he says HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO TAKE THAT PERSONS LIFE AWAY FROM THEM........but fortunately for everyone knobby lives in a dream world and couldnt punch his way out of a paper bag,so your all safe.

Isn't it strange that we get 'some' on here who, when, in drink, will thrash about insulting all and sundry................and then take great delight in mentioning 'antibiotics' and making disparaging remarks concerning their ideas of the presumed alcohol intake of other posters............?

That is an interesting comment to make MWB, i.e. No one knows where dot lives so his death threat is not to be taken seriously.

I have just commented on a post made by Drisgirl who has threatened reefgirl and/or Haysi stating that she now knows her full name and where she lives and to "watch her back" as it is not just an internet threat.

So, by your reckoning reefgirl/Haysi should take that threat seriously?

Charisse if leg or knobby makes deaththreats its to be taken as a joke or they only meant kill the username,but if anyone else makes deaththreats to knobby or leg they would be reported,banned and urged to call the police etc.... mwb is the biggest hypocrite i have ever heard of!

You are so right, there are some bloody nice people on this site but there is also some cretins that spoil it for the nice few hence why I don't post much on here now and joined Facebook where you know people and don't get the abuse you do on here.

I, personally, take all of the nonsense on this site with a pinch of salt slinger, however knobby and now Drisgirl have seperately threatened other users and stated that they know where they live.

What if in fact they do know names and addresses and carry out their threats? How would everyone on here feel then?

I say, ban those who make threats and furthermore contact the police when people bandy about the fact that they have personal details of users. Regardless of whether or not it has been posted whilst in a drunken stupor or as bravado.

I really must go now as lots to do today.

I dont think a complete ban would be wise,but i do think week/month long bans would make folk think twice about what they type! I dislike bellyman and midget just as much as the best of you,but if they went.....................................................the poor little trolls wouldnt have no one to pick on! lol!

I hardly use this site these days too, I used to be and active member of this site and I can honestly say, One member has totally destroyed the site and until that person finds a new interest, I think this place will always be based on childish and unacceptable behaviour.

I know it's easy to overlook the posts we don't want to respond to but when you look down the lists of questions and general chat, it's hard to pick out the (few and far between) genuine posts.

Face book has given me a chance to get on with the good people of this site. (Not to suggest that I've only added the people who are nice - there are still a lot of you I haven't had chance to add, mostly due to the fact that I don't know your names on FB)

I didn't realise I had to post on a regular basis!

I only respond when I feel the need to, I'm not the type to post just to let people know I'm around.

I also have a life away from the pc and this is one of the days where I managed to find a little bit of time to sit down and have a read. (This site is also useful for finding answers without having to post)
