who can say. Take them back and they will either exchange them or give you your money back as you prefer.

grasscarp, i dont have the receipt any more though.

I tried to eat them again but each time I eat one, i have to spit it back out, its so awful, i think its the skin or something and it makes my tongue all rough and dry, i have never tasted grapes so tasteless and rough like this ever before! not happy at all,
Have you washed them - sometimes there is a nasty coating ?

If you are going that was I would them back anyway even if you havent got the receipt - they might replace them
I have often taken food back to Tesco without the receipt. If they can see it is their product they will at least give a replacement.
well it is because these grapes are produced on a mass scale for tescos which compromises on their taste, and there probably not properly ripe either, and have a tough skin because they was grown in a greenhouse to speed up their growth. These werent grown on nice vines under the sun y know!
go to local asian shops, there grapes are generally grown more tradditionally and therefore taste sweet n juicy
supermarket grapes? Nah!

thanks guys, i always wash my fruits before i eat them, but this batch of grapes i picked up were awful :(

i think im gonna take them back, or feed my colleagues, they love freebies.
I had same thing with some from tesco earlier this week, as well, the middles were really squishy and horrible, with nasty after taste. The poster that said about them being grown in unnatural mass production conditions is probably spot on.
