hp printer problems

I have a hp photosmart 3110 all in one printer/fax/scanner.. which has suddenly refused to print only first page of documents. also when i ask for either portrait or landscape it always returns to landscape - can anyone out there come to the aid of a n 80 year old with very little knowledghe of whats "under the bonnet"

I have a HP Printer but different model to yours. When you want to print a pop up window should appear where you can choose from Landscape or Portrait and also you need to input the number of pages you need printing or you can select 'All'. Everything you require will be displayed in the pop-up Window.

I suppose you could solve the first one by creating a new document and copying just the first page on to it. That doesn't answer the question of what's gone wrong, though.
