no buds on roses
i was given a ruby anniversary rose 2 years ago. The first 2 years produced plenty of buds, but this year being the 3rd there arent any buds at all. The plant itself looks healthy, but no buds! Any suggestions why this may be

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.This is one I grow- it is beautiful. I wonder if you have given it too much nitrogen based fertiliser- this encourages growth. Trim about 4-6 ins from the stems, to an outward facing bud, and work in a small handful of potash around the base of the plant. Water it in, and you should soon be enjoying flowers
