Since it became law last year, each child over 3 has to be monitored for obesity, no problem with that at all,however,my little grandson who is 5 in July is one of the ones classed as obese, he is 3'8'' and 3st 7llbs, you can almost see his ribs when you bathe him, he has that gangly look about him! My daughter has just received a local authority letter telling about this, it appears he is 3 and a half ounces over ,,,,he mustn't have had a poo that day...lol she is so strict with his 5-a-day, he isn't fed rubbish, she has been a dental nurse for over 20 yrs and watches that side of things sharply and considering he was born at 26 weeks, 3 months premature, I think the little mite has done wonders, Is this getting all too much joy x

Too much reference to text books nowadays,if you ask me.
God knows how us mothers managed to bring up our families without help from health visitors who tell that babies of certain ages can't have this or that till they are so many months old----and you shouldn't do this or that.
