It is in cases the best pronunciation that someone not used to the word can muster. Like for example the indian words in the English language. They are in my opinion words fondly remembered and used in memory of an era that has now bygone. There is no vandalism involved but just the best efforts of a foreign occupying race to get their tongues around a strange language. The fact that they did and brought these words into the mainstream of their language and is still in use after nearly 57 years is a testament to the users. I will now start a thread on Indian words in the english language.
