Screen Timer

When I am watching something on the monitor every 10 minutes or so the screen changes back to the desktop,could you please tell me how I can stop this from happening.

right click on the desktop, select properties, click on the screen saver tab and set the screen saver to none, also then click on the power button and make sure it is set to never turn off monitor.
