driving licence ban

I am on the verge on losing my licence for a string of speeding offences over a period of 2 years.

Believe me when I say these are nothing serious, 2 of them were for driving at 37 and 39 in a 30 zone

No excuses its my fault. But if I get banned how long will it be for? What's the minimum length?

3 similar offences like I mentioned and 9 points. Unfortunately one more is pending.

If you get 12 points you get a minimum 6 months ban under Section 35 Road Traffic Offenders Act and a stiff fine.

Do I take it from your Q that you have been driving for 2 years? We have all done it, & we all still do it but remember, if you enter a 30 MPH Zone There ""MAY "" be a camera ahead I'm afraid to say, the camera does not give a sht how long & how much you need your licence 30 is 30.

Tell them you are a football player / manager or a drugged up band member of a well known band. Well why not??/ They always get let off..

I know someone who had 12 points but didn't lose their licence as she said she had no other way of getting her children to school.

I think it depends on the judge on the day ,if you have a reason for not losing your licence you may not get a 6 month ban.

I have been driving since 2000 and have never had a fine or points before this is just getting caught by unfortunate cameras which is my own stupid fault.

If I got banned I could very easily take the train or cycle so cant really give a reason why I shouldn't. Just have to take what I get and learn from it!
