i've just tried to list a pair of sunglasses on ebay and because of the category sunglasses are in it wont allow me to charge anything for postage and packaging,

it says that this is what buyers think is a fair amount and ebay doesn't want to drive away customers because of high P&P costs

how stupid is this they dont want to lose new customers but are happy to lose someone selling a �500 pair of sunglasses

if they are �500.00 can you not just let them off or just add a bit more on to cover it

It's easy - absorb the p&p in to the starting price, reserve price, or buy it now.
