Hey NM, I had a weekend at Flamingo Land last weekend. There's a holiday village next to the theme park and zoo. I don't go on any of the rides, don't like them, but the zoo is smashing.

Our family kids all love FL - If you live in Yorkshire it's well worth a visit. Whereabouts do you live when you are in the UK?

I live in Hereford, which is quite a way from Yorkshire, Mrs. Chappie. But I just got back to Spain this morning, and won't be back in the UK for about another 10 days.

I've been to stay with friends in Derbyshire to help them celebrate the first birthday of their daughter. Fantastic day - sat on the side of a fell overlooking the valley in glorious sunlight with great company and great food. Only thing that marred it was a serious dog scrap (one bitch decided to try and kill another bitch - we ended up with human injuries and dog injuries). Spent most of the day on the M1 after Sat Nav decided that was a GREAT way for me to go home. Other than that though, a great weekend and just sorry it had to end.
