Tory Donor Lord Bamford Funds The Reform...

We run various competitions and quizzes every month at work to raise money for charity. We are running out of ideas. In recent months we have held Raffles, Downloaded quizzes from the internet, name that local pub (from an old picture of the pub), guess who the baby is?(old baby photos from employees), guess how many widgets in a jar (nearest wins).
Has anyone got any ideas for things we could do? We are a small engineering firm with approx. 35 people, mixture of men and women.

They would return a week later to collect and take any orders. Depending on the number ordered, they would then give you a free book/s. We used to ask for the money instead as we wanted to donate it to charity. It was surprising how it mounted up and everyone gained as the books were very good value.
A small group of friends of ours used to hold Safari Suppers. This is where you would start at one house and have a starter, then move onto another house for the main course, another house for dessert and the last house for coffee. This was before children came along!
Maybe, you could adapt the idea and use it as a fundraiser - perhaps with a barbecue during the summer
Good Luck
