why can this not be cured, why do you have to take tablets for the rest of your life with this condition?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.yeah same here diane, i kept falling asleep too, i was only in my early 30s but i had 3 children under 7 and just assumed they were hard work!!! i would get up out of a chair like an old woman and not be able to straighten up properly. it was just as my sister's Lupus was diagnosed and it was her consultant that told her to tell her sisters to be tested. glad he did.
Thanks for the link sachs all very helpful, and to Diane and Dot i was always falling asleep also, find it hard to get my joints moving first thing in the morning i'm like an old woman of 90 the way i shuffle along, i'm also always hungary (dont know if this is a symptom or not) been on thyroxine for 7 weeks now
