we have had it for several years, but recently the red lite never goes off, do you think the thermostat has gone? If so, how do we remedy it, any ideas, pse?

Much as I dislike the disposable ways of today, in a lot of cases if items develop faults it's simply not worth repairing them.

Thanks, CF, I thought that was probably the case. That new one is really cheap, less than we paid for ours years ago!
