Kids today do not appear happy to me, look at their furrowed brows.
I don't what the answer is , I do know that I had bother again with a load of kids from a certain school.
It can't go on like this, of course Hitler said that in volume 1 of "Mein Kampf", Geezer is sadly right, the majority of people are tired of middle class hand wringing liberality, and will vote for extremists (not me) rather than the Green Party etc.
Off topic (I know) but Nick Griffen was asked did he agree that "chemotherapy" should be applied to Islam in Europe?
He answered "yes" and then went on, I didn't agree with his argument, but to hear a straight answer will impress many.

don't know why this is a 'lefty' problem - the Tories were in power for more than half the last 40 years. Sounds like a Conservative policy to me, protecting dear little Marmaduke from the brutality of teachers raised by the uncouth working classes. Are you really accusing Saint Maggie of liberal projects?

I agree with what craft said about "rubbish parents". Perhaps that should be parentING.
Despite that, the teacher in question shouldnt've been teaching if he coudn't control himself. If he was so stressed that he had to attack a child with a piece of metal - then he should've taken time off from work. I hope he receives a jail sentence. Imagine if that'd been YOUR child!

All teachers have to put up with a lot, not only from undisciplined pupils, but their parents as well. The dictats coming out from the EU has a lot to answer for with their human rights legislation. All children are now fully aware of their rights and will push to the limit and beyond. They have no respect for their parents, ergo, no respect for teachers. This is not to say that all children are like this. Some have been brought up properly and have been taught by their parents to respect authority be it a teacher or even a police officer.
Something must have made this poor man snap, and though I don't approve of what he did, there are probably extenuating circumstances.
