Stop cat pee smell
4 Answers
Morning
Our cat peed on the carpet. It didn't originally smell but since I cleaned it with soapy water it has started smelling. Any tips for getting rid of the smell and what to do if it happens again? Thanks!

There is a good carpet spray (can't for the life of me remember the name) for carpets and upholstery. You spray it on and it foams up. Check your supermarket.
For future problems - lemon juice is very good, but again, check it won't mark. Clean the area with hot soapy water, then sprinkle lemon juice on.
If it's a re-accuring problem, try using a citrus scented cleaner (cats hate citrus) or if possible, put your cat's food bowl in the area they keep peeing on. Cats will not mess were they eat. This isn't really feasible if it's in the middle of the louge though!
