Would love to go to Liverpool for a few days - anybody recommend it and places to go if and when I do go.

It somehow appeals to me.

Great City ! Plenty to do ! Are you going on a Pub Crawl or is it Sightseeing.

There's The Albert Dock with it's many bars and restaurants, Tate Liverpool ( some very strange exhibits), The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, The Maritime Museum (Magical history tour)Ferry cross the Mersey tour.Paddy's Wigwam (Catholic Cathedral) fantastic building. If you want to shop till you drop a must is Liverpool 1 shopping centre. The World Museum has a planetarium which is fantastic and plenty more besides.If you go I hope you have an enjoyable stay.

Couldn't agree more moonshadow. It's a great City.
If you like Cask Ale (Proper Beer) there's nowhere better as there are loads of good pubs !!
