What would you choose

For a girl I'm thinking Poppy

My favourite girl's name is Rachel.

For a boy I quite like Jacob, my grandson's name.

When our youngest daughter was born, we were convinced until the moment of arrival that she was a boy, so we had a boy's name ready -probably Alex.

When she arrived, the prresent Mrs Hughes announced 'Charlotte Mary' and so she is.

LOL andy - I was meant to be a boy. My parents were so convinced that they had no girls names and I was nameless for 3 days!

Mine are called Claire, Jamie and Owen. They all seem happy with their names.

I think you associate nice names with people you know that you like sometimes or at least I do tend to dislike certain names if I know someone not very nice who has it also. I'm not saying what they are in case I upset anyone!

Poppy is indeed a beautiful name karma22. If I have a girl I would name her Kathleen.

one of my daughters has a traditional name charlotte OR CHARLIE AS SHES KNOWN AND MY OTHER DAUGHTER IS A BIT MORE UNUSUAL BOBBIE-LEIGH
i like scarlett for a girl
and aaron for a boy ethan is also nice
