Cocktail Drinkers, Are They Imbibing...

My daughter would love to get into this line of work but has no idea where to start. I know I'm her mother and there for a bit bias, but I really think she would be very good at it. Any ideas as to where she could start.
Thanks for your time.
P.S. she has already done a bit of sort of thing already but not in a cloths shop, just in a crad shop.

As your daughter has some practical experience I would suggest that she contacts some local department stores and get as much advice and assistance as she can. How did they get into their careers? Are there any openings there, or opportunities for you to get more experience? What qualifications, if any, are needed?
The fact that she has some practical experience will be a help, not least in that it will give some contacts, so make the most of them.
As to qualifications, I am not aware of any specific courses that would apply, but recruiters may well favour students from design courses. If not in design, then practical experience will become even more important to any application, and if she can get any more experience, so much the better.
She could also consider related careers, such as interior design, which may offer a greater range of opportunities.
