Can anyone tell me the music playing in the background of the trailer for Corrie moving to Thursday?

It's driving me nuts...I'm sure it's the theme to an old crime drama series, but for the life of me I can't think which one!!
The trailer is shown on this link

Please someone put me out of my misery!! :o)

It is the theme to the film "The Ipcress File" played by the John Barry Orchestra.

Many many thanks Malcyb2000 - lmao & there is me a huge fan of John Barry!! Oops! Im my defence, it's more his later ones that I like (the ones with lots of violins )

Anyway - you are a star Malcy! Thanks once again XD
No problem Spikey. Glad to be of help. It is good that ITV are wheeling out these catchy old tunes now. There is Percy Faith's "A Summer Place" being played over the trailer for "The Bill".
It probably won't be long before we have "Stranger On The Shore" or "Eye Level" or "Chi Mai" given another outting at this rate.

You are so right Malcy - & all of those I would know too! I initially thought the Ipcress file was the Callan theme, but found that & knew it wasn't!

I'm sure "Sleepy Shores" "Spartacus - Khachaturian" & probably the theme from Upstairs Downstairs will appear too XD

BTW - nice to meet another TV series theme song addict!
