I must confess, I am a 30 year old female and I have NEVER had an orgasm sexually. I have dated both men and women and neither have done the trick. I can, however, make myself have an orgasm through masturbation and am almost at the point where I want to give up having sex all together and meet my own needs. I'm so tired of "faking it". Is there something wrong with me?

I have the same problem, but apparently it is not all that uncommon, you have proved to youself that you can through masturbation, but maybe it is to do with not being able to let the person know what you want? Maybe you are care about pleasing them too much? Or maybe you just cannot let yourself go during sex? Build up your confidence within yourself, be selfish and go for what you want!

With women it is more psychological than physical.  Actually, it's about 99.9% psychological !!  We have to both love and lust after the person we are with.  If we only feel love or lust for a certain person, we are not fulfilled psychologically and that translates into a lack of fulfillment physically.  You will date many people before you find someone that elicits both feelings from you, but when you do meet that person, I can almost guarantee you your "problem" will suddenly disappear.  I speak from experience!

Sorry, all of that was a roundabout way of saying that I think you just haven't met the right person yet!!  The lack of "it" is your body's way of telling your brain that this partner isn't right for you, and to keep looking for "the one".  Once you have found "the one", your body and brain will be in agreement and everything will be lovely.

Sorry KEJ but that's b*******!
taken 7 months to come to that conclusion georgie? But coincidentally there was something in the news the other day suggesting that it is indeed something to do with overcoming fear; here is a link if you're still around, mckenzie
