It looks like another dull day in prospect here in Gloucestershire. There is a thin band of clear sky near the skyline, the rest is overcast.

Hi rinkins , funnygirl , and sallas , lovely to see you and thank you for asking , I'm more relaxed now I'm getting fed through the PEG . I don't have the worry of trying to get food and fluids down me . I have a carer now and it seems really strange having someone doing things for you that you normally would do , even had my dogs out and fed , and even my underwear chosen for me ...hee

Lol sallas , hee , thankfully she doesn't bring a knicker supply with her , so it was my knicker drawer she gets to choose from and no baggies or Bridget Jones ones in there thankfully :-)

How's it going with the PEG? I've had one a few times when I've been unable to swallow - just sucked on ice cubes when I felt my mouth really dry.

It's going well Cath honey , it's strange how you get a sort of sweet taste in the back of your throat from the feed , unless that's just with motor neurone disease because the diaphragm is weaker . Hope you're having one of your better days today honey xxx
