So Prince William wants to join the army. If he was to be sent to Iraq and fight like any ordinary soldier would I would imagine the resistance fighters (terrorist) would want to kidnap him, if they do succeed they would obviously make high demands for his release. Now, would the goverment negotiate for his release (bearing in mind on no negotiating with terrorist policy) or would they send in the SAS?

he would never be allowed to be put in a position where that could happen which is why the whole army thing is laughable and if he did get kidnapped the goverment would secretly give the terrorists whatever they wanted because willie isnt an ordinary human being like ken bigely he is a royal or a god a kind of superhuman being that we pay for despite being as useful as a chocolate frying pan.

Hes hardly going to be on the 'front line'. Its ridiculous anyway, how many mixed messages does this send out? One minute he's being photographed being all compassionate holding dying babies and the next minute he's banging on about joining the army and by doing so condoning an inhumane and immoral war in which countless babies and children were killed. his PR guy needs sacking. I cant see him being kidnapped anyway, his friends in high places would regard the price tag on his life way to high to justify putting him in danger, unlike the apparantly irrelevant lives of innocent Iraqi civilians who had no choice in being part of the bloodbath.

and and and K said it was not getting killed that was the problem (indeed he said I think I should let you go if getting killed was the certainty) but the propaganda that would be generated if he got caught.
