Chinese porcelain

This is a crossword question which I have extensively searched the intenet for an answer to, without success.  In Chinese art, a faint hard-to-see decoration applied to white porcelain before glazing.  I have A - H - A which seems to fit with everything elase.  Any help would be much appreciated.
