You use a public toilet and wash your hands before you leave,(I hope). That, maybe a waste of time, the person leaving in front of you may not have washed theirs. What is the last thing you do before you leave the building ?Use the door handle. How many times have you seen a person leaving without using the tap..Yuk...

I wash my hands and then attempt to open the door without touching it with my skin! (sleeve wrapped round hand etc.)
I try not to use public loos (unless absolutely necessary) but quite like the service stations cos they often have no doors on leaving the loo area and have remote flushing.
mind you, I spent two weeks recently living in a field, so I can't afford to be that precious about it!

that's why I like those 3 in one wash things water soap and dryer all in one you touch nothing just shakes your hands about so you touch nothing.
And those people go on to touch money, articles in shops etc which we all in turn touch.
How many people actually wash their hands properly anyway?
Abotu 5 years ago where I worked we were on a training course and all told to wash our hands with this "gel" stuff and then a light (or something was waved over the top of them) it showed up all the places people hadn't washed properly. The only guy in the group who had 100% clean hands was a surgeon.
And those people go on to touch money, articles in shops etc which we all in turn touch.
