Harry Potter & the HBP

Ok. My question to you all is. 1) What is the purpose of the HBP. 2) Who is the HBP 3) What Is the Uniqueness of the Half-Blood Prince 4) What will the HBP do to help in the 2nd War

My theories are: 2)The HBP is Godric Gryffindor 1)The purpose of the HBP is to show Harry's relationship/ancestry with Godric. 3)There is ancient magic involved. I think the protective spell over Harry has more to do with Godric's blood, than Petunia's. 4)Knowing his heritage, Harry will finally start to gain the confidence he needs to fight Voldemort. Also, I think it flows well with the Alchemy prediction (see thinkpotter.com) that ends the war. Keep in mind that I feel that Godric was named the HBP because of his fight for the stature of Half Bloods, etc. in the wizarding world. Not necessarily because he is of Royalty or Half-Blooded. However, I don't see why he couldn't be.

Great theory. i still think snape and harry team up though. and this has made me wonser if snape gets the defence post. i used to think after "snapes worst memory" (the order of the pheonix) that lily took pity on snape and harry is their son but she then was to embarresed so she started gonig out with james and made out it was their son? but snape finds out and then harry goes to live with him and they all live happily ever after. ps. i talk allot about snape cos im in Slytherin (i got sorted). Please accept my views are very much so humourus and not really serious like PHEONIXASHES are very well thought of. I think my views on the other page are very well thought of.

I think the HBP is hagrid or his brother. I Think the HBP is going to help in the war by sending a new force like giants or some other magical creature to help in the war.

I also think that the HBP is Godric. But...we never know the HBP could be someone that we have never heard of yet..however, JK says there are small clues in the books and movies. For all we know, it could be Crookshanks, he is half blood after all isn't he?

Obviously it's Seamus Finnigan or a new character. Seamus is a half blood and being petrified is a clue from the chamber of secrets. He has been in most of the books but doesn't stand out and JK Rowling said that there were little clues through out the books, so it makes sense that it would be him. If it's not, it must be a new character. However, there is a possibility that it could be Godric Gryffindor. But I don't think it is.

1) I think that the HBP and Harry are the only two who can team up and finally beat Voldemort because between the two they have strengths that not even Voldemort has. 2) I think that the HBP is Neville 3)Everyone knows that neville isnt the smartest person in the world, especially compared to Harry. It would be an odd twist if somehow it was Neville though. It said in the 5th book when Harry listened to the "prophecy" Trelawney predicted (quote) " The one with the powers to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thriced defied him, born as the seventh month dies..." Both Neville's parents and Harry's parents faught against the dark side and both Harry and Neville were born on the same day, who knows maybe Voldemort chose wrong and thats why Harry has the powers he has now. 4)I think that Neville and Harry will have to team up to fight Voldemort. The only subject Neville's good in is Herbology and Harry is pretty good at just about everything else i guess (except potions)so i believe that something will happen that involves the 2 to cope with eachothers stengths and weaknesses in order to defeat the dark side.
