im currently shopping around for house & contents insurance anyone give me a reason or the benefits of doing it as a joint policy (husband & wife) rather than in just my name?...(the house is in joint names) just getting fed up filling in 2 lots of info when doing on-line quotes.
can't see why you want building and contents insurance in both names. we have been married over 40 years and although the house is in joint names, insurance has always been in husbands name. just got good deal from lloyds direct.

if you wish to speak to them
