Does anyone know which lake the nutter swam across to visit Aung San Suu Kyi in Burma? I learnt to swim in Lake Victoria - as it was then - in 1945.

Brilliant! True, actually - I was with the RAF and was told that to complete my learning I had to swim right across the lake; I made it, then realised I also had to swim back or face a 10-mile walk.
