Does any one know the legal height of garden trees ?? Our neighbours trees are blocking our view but not our light. Anything we can do to get them cut back ? We can't approach the people as either we do not know them or they are unapproachable !

there is no legal height for trees. If you need advice you will have to speak to your local authority but I doubt there is much they will do unless the tree is unsafe or could cause an issue with foundations.
This question is asked just about every week on this `wotchermacallit` and answered by a very patient Hawkwalk.

Nobody has a right to 'view' so if its being blocked by tree you will just have to live with it.

You could have had a word with neighbour before tree got big enough to block your 'view', it didn't happen overnight.
um why can you not approach the ones who you don't know?
