I've recently scanned my computer for malware and found a trojan called msihbloqomueumqg.dll. I've cleaned it up a few times and it keeps coming back. Any idea what it is and how I get rid of it totally?
Sorted this problem. The dll file name I quoted wasn't the whole file name. It started with ESQUL. ESQUL is a new virus that hides in your system root in several places such as registry keys and in the system32 folder. It normally appears in system32 as ESQUL(then a bunch of random letters).dll or .sys or as ESQULzcounter. I found four of those. It appears in registry keys as ESQULserv.sys or just ESQUL. I had to use Avenger to get rid of it. Instructions are at the 7th post of this link: http://community.norton.com/norton/board/messa ge?board.id=nis_feedback&message.id=62063
