Not been here for a few weeks, but dropped in today, and noticed it had changed format.
OK, I knew that was on the cards anyway, but the biggest shock was seeing certain words actually spelt out for the world to see. I'm no prude (honest!) but I don't like to see them just the same, especially at 9 o'clock on a Sunday morning. If this is going to be normal now then bye bye forever!!
hiya posty!, hopefully the swear filter will be looked at when the Ed gets back, there have been a lot of niggles that they are working on, day one of the new AB was a nightmare! hopefully though it will get better and the filter will be reintroduced!, stick with it!!
Personally, I'm not offended by it. I understand though that some are. Filters & a few other things are not up and running at the moment, seems they're having a few glitches! It will sort its self out over a few days!
I was reading an article in the paper yesterday about how the likes of 'Gordon Ramsey' have ruined swearing. I have to agree.....Swear words have their place in humour and how a joke comes across. It's pointless swearing that's the problem....
People see swearing allowed on TV and films and think it ok to use the `f` word willy nilly. I blame the producers, directors, scrip writers, and many so called comedians. Why not we all try to go through a day without using any expletives and give up swearing like so many give up smoking? Or.... is it possible???
