Do you sort out your rubbish and recycle now?

I do, and we've got a multitude of bins, but a lot of people believe that the "sorted" paper/glass/plastic etc goes to the same landfill! Seems a waste (groan) of time sorting doesn;t it?

we only have the tins and paper collected , but have a green bin for cardboard
and garden waste , the glass and plastics we take to the recycle bins , this scheme
has been used here for nearly 20 years , and a new composting site has just been
built .
