aww but she was terrified i got to do it once a week too bless her
also have to give her ear drops which she really hates too
i feel like im being so mean to her when shes crying really loud
shes such a nervous cat
Please middkazsam,
Don't feel guilty.
We have had cats all our married life (60 years) and I know that they know that you love them and wouldn't hurt them.
I am sure they can tell the difference between deliberate cruelty, and what is done for their best.
Give it a couple of hours and she will have forgotten the whole thing.
In fact it's us that gets too wound up and anxious, more that tne cat.
It's our aniexty they respond to,more than what they are going through.
The love you give your cat is the surest way that they can cope with things.
Don't fret~All WILL be well.

i kept talking to her as i was doing it but she must of known how upsetting it was for me too
im covered it scratch marks lol dont blame her though its not a normal thing for her
PS:~
When you have to do it again,PLEASE try and stay relaxed(if possible) and that way your cat won't pick up on your fears.
It's YOUR fear she really doesn't like, when you lose YOUR confidence she panics.

I haven't looked at ALL these links, but there might be something there to stop your trauma?

cat bathing
Please take time to look at least some of the links I posted.
If there is nothing there, please tell your Vet of the problems you are having, and ask if they can prescribe a dry shampoo for your cat. This is in effect a powder treatment, but is rubbed in (and brushed out) as if it were a wet shampoo.
I am sure there must be an alternative if your cat is so distressed, but ask the Vet,they have seen it all before.
My dog loves having a bath he protests a bit when he cottons on that he is going in the bath but once he gets in there he is like a fish in water and he even gets to know now and actually trys to climb in there
Please DO let us know how you (and the cat) get on.
Elsie & I know how difficult it can be to look after a sickly cat,and if we can give you more advice we will.
