Hi there,
Does anyone know if it's ok for the father of the bride to walk the bride down the aisle and give her away if the bride is divorced? (My Dad walked me down the aisle & gave me away at my first wedding 20 years ago.)

You can do whatever you like. It is your wedding.

In Australia we have a great system where you can have a wedding with an authorised celebrant. No church or registy office. My wife and I designed our own ceremony and her mum gave her away.

Thanks! I am a strong advocate of doing it the way we want, but my Dad's keen to follow protocol, so I want to make sure it's not considered taboo!
