how do i remove and replace drivers door mirror

Are you talking about the whole mirror ass or the glass on it's own? If only the glass use boiling water & pour over the glass to remove ( Wear gloves the glass splinters) if you look up the side of the glass you should see a circular clip that holds the glass + backing, just unclip this then the mirror / backing will pop out.
