AB & Firefox...

I've been trying to use Firefox when on AB as I could block the ads, thereby speeding up the response time that my dial-up connection gave me. I find today that Adblock Plus is not working as it was & "right-clicking" the ads no longer gives me the option to block - just a box with Adobe options. To the best of my knowledge, I've not changed any settings etc.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this yet another brilliant alteration to the site?

With thanks for your time & attention,

It must be something to do with the site, If I enable adblock I lose all the html, making the page impossible to read.
I am using FF with ABP and the site works fine. The Google ads down the side and the other ads towards the bottom are nowhere to be seen. The only difference is I don't use the manual "block" options, I just set the default filters to be on and let them do the picking and choosing for me.

So no, it is definitely not answerbank that is causing this problem.

Thank you both for your answers - I'm off to try & find the "default" option!..

...I may be some time :-)

...Now this is just silly! I've come to FF from IE & I'm now allowed to block the ads?! Oh well, such is life with a steam-powered PC - nothing's the same from day to day :-))
Well, when I say default I sort of don't mean default as there is no such option. What I actually meant was go to ABP and click Preferences > Filters > Add Filter Subscription > Put a tick in "Easylist USA" and click "Subscribe".

Works for me!
I find I can block static ads but not animated ones, which presumably are operating with Flash or something of the sort. This is on Firefox - it will quite likely be different on IE.
