what song? male singer sounds like coldplay. off an advert.

very slow tempo, male singer, sounds a bit like coldplay. the lyrics sound like- just to be with you oo.... i see it in your eyes ( i also want to sing- "to see it through.." -and- "what i wouldnt do just to be with you" - but doubt they are right)
(ive searched the lyrics on google for well over an hour and they dont match up to the right song so im guessing im misshearing them. please help.) (its not the guy off american idle just same lyrics)

advert saying my baby will die if catches cold this year" the advert shows a baby with tubes in its nose. i think on chan4 or e4. it has a male voice over the song.
