Hibernating in Windows XP

I run Windows 200 Pro and use the Hibernation facility for a fast startup.

In XP I've enabled the Hibernation function in Advanced Power Options within Control Panel as with 2000 Pro. But when I go to Shutdown, there is no Hibernation option - only Restart, Turn Off and Log Off. In 2000 you get the drop down menu with various options.

Any ideas ?

Yeah it's not there by default. I'm not on Win XP at the moment so can't test this.
