//or even the BBC's specially invited audience? "he was surprised how many block invitations had taken place, judging by the fact that so many groups of people knew each other".//
Every edition of Question Time, 50% of the audience is made up of representatives of the partys taking part in the interests of fairness. Last night there were four parties, so an eighth of the audience were BNP invitees. The local constituency parties of the area the show is being filmed distribute the tickets to whoever they want in the audience, which is why audience members know each other.

AOG" I am not a holocaust denier in any way, Thankfully, I was not there and I do not know anything about it, except for what I have read or seen on the news reels.
It seems rather funny though that one is allowed to form conspiracies against major happenings in history, except the holocaust. "
No one is stupid enough to deny that the deaths of those in the Twin Towers were all faked, though there may be a conspiracy as to who was responsible for the attack. Same goes for the death of JFK - it is purely down to who killed him, not whether or not he was killed.
Although people deny that the moon landings were a hoax, there are no deaths involved.

Jack Straw evaded the really important point - ie "Do you think that your goverment's immigration policies have led to the rise in votes for the BNP?" The answer was a resounding Yes, but he couldn't say it.
Plenty of reasonably educated people I know voted BNP, or at least considered it, not because they want the hopeless shower in actual power, or are racist, but because they see it as the best way to give the mainstream a kick up the rear on immigration.
Last night was a total set up by the BBC, it started with a news announcer on the radio in the afternoon saying that a lot of protesters were expected at the BBC studios, and then telling them exactly where those studios are. He may as well have said go along and chuck eggs at him.
Then Griffin made some perfectly reasonable statements on his fears about Islam, after being asked to. About 3 people at the back applauded this (which goes to show how stage-managed the audience was) and all the ones at the front were looking round in indignation to try and see who could possibly agree with his view that it is wrong to stone women to death after they have been raped.

I know has been made about the holocaust and justly so. But compare the 6,000,000 with the 70,000,000 deaths of those involved worldwide in WWII.

So that's supposed to override my comment about Dimbleby, is it Gromit?
It is just her opinion, and I was going to excuse her of using the word done instead of did, because I first thought she was black until I researched who she was.
