Computer playing up!! HELP

Can someone tell me why my computer will sometime play videos with sound then the next minute not do anything? I can occassionally watch BBCi with no probelms but at other times I can get no sound or the picture is very "shakey" I have Windows 2000 on a quite old Compaq computer but am told the memory is big enough for the job! Please help as this is REALLY driving me nuts.

New mobile not working... HELP! I paid good money for it!

TTG

Download the latest version of iplayer. Make sure it is the only thing you are doing on your computer when watching videos. If you are using Internet Explorer, try a faster browser like Firefox. Watching videos relies on a good broadband internet connection as well.
