I found the information given with the paintings to be more detailed and helpful than usual, so you might not need a guided tour if you don't want one. Turner seems to have tried every genre going, in hopes of getting more commissions; but he wasn't actually good at all of them. Most of the ones with people in them don't work. But the seascapes and paintings of light are wonderful.
