... don't miss this years stunning BP Portrait Awards exhibition at the NPG.

It's free - it's brilliant - a reminder of just how many great artists there are in the UK - a useful antidote to the Celebrity Culture of The Turner Prize and the bloated egos of the Hirsts and Emins of this world.

I wouldn't pay you in buttons for unmade beds and shed/boat/sheds, but I'd give virtually all of this years BP exhibits room space, if I could afford them.

Dave xx

PS : found a new cafe/bar near St Pancras too - excellent lunch - good food and great atmosphere :

I'll add that to my 'to do' list, Dave. (The NPG is one of my favourite places in London anyway).

Thanks.
Chris - is that coz it's free?
they're all free in London, wolf, the National Gallery, British Museum, V&A, even Trafalgar Square...

Daft isn't it jno - it costs (much) more to have a pee at Euston than to visit some of the greatest museums in the world ...
I went to London once

Have you seen this, wolf. sorry Dave.

Description:
Is Davy Beckam sleeping still on show .not sure if it was that one in Leicester square .
Question Author
Sleepy Beckham still there in the permanent collection - as is a very imposing Judy Dench.
wonderful being able to walk in any time and not feel you have to see hundreds of paintings to get your money's worth, though.

Who takes a cat to a book signing. I am sure that Dave will agree that dogs are sociable animals who just love meeting people an other dogs. Cats are not. My two would freak out in that environment.

By all means make money from the fact that your cat is plain ugly but leave the cat at home.

Can't wait to read it, wolf.
Grumpy Cat (Tardar Sauce is her real name) is the most chilled, laid back cat I have ever seen. Her owners never put her under any stress. Unlike the owner of Lil Bub who recently took his cat to meet some lions at the zoo :-/
Bliddy hell, what happened at the zoo, Daffy ?.
DAFFY - you are probably right about her being chilled out. But I still think that she is ugly.

Cats going to the zoo seems a strange thing to do. I have threatened mine with a culinary trip to Korea.

Sorry Dave
