Whats the very first christmas item you buy every year??

For me it has to be the tins of chocys! dont know why!! and every year i never seem to get my favorite from ANY tin cause its alway gone! :(

i bought some brandy liquers at the beginning of September, but they.....went away.
are they with my Grand Marnier ones?
I always buy xmas cards!!
I buy crackers in the sales after christmas - this year I bought a couple of boxes of 6 for £10 crackers for £2.50 each.

good thinking carrot! I do always say ill get a few bits in the january sales for following year, xmas decorations and such, but when it comes round to it I never bother! last year i bought gift sets in Boots 75% off and ive used them all for b'day gifts during the year! . . . oops!
Like carrot - I always buy my general packs of christmas cards, crackers, wrapping paper, tags & gift bags in the sales after Chritstams Why pay double in Nov/Dec?

I do buy all my special family & friends cards in the first week of Dec, along with nuts & tins of chocs, etc.

Whether the lids stay on long enough is another story, lol ;o}

buy wrap and cards in january sales, then dried fruit etc in june and make my christmas cake and pudding
Baileys, its not Christmas without a bottle of it :-)
because they are scarce, i always buy one of those square boxes of orange and lemon sugared slices, my kids expect them, my mum used to get them when we were kids, it's an odd tradition, we always eat them on boxing day

mmm...baileys!! I always have a coffee xmas eve with baileys in it & whipped cream on top...so naughty but soooo nice!! mite leave one out for MR.C this year! lol

dot i havent seen those orange lemon slices in years! :)
I don't know where I'm going to get my orange and lemon slices from this year as I always used to get them from Woolworths... no way will they last until Boxing Day with me, I usually eat them on Christmas Eve as soon as I get to my parents house!
