Armageddon / end of the world

After all the fuss over the supposed 'end of the world' occuring at the turn of the century in 1999 there have been several alternative dates suggested. Does anyone know when the next 'end of the world' date is scheduled to happen - and why that particular date?

This is when the Myan calender ends, and "supposidly" the same month and year that Nostrodamus predicted. Why this day? Well, according to the Discovery Channel's "Decoding the Past", it's the same time that Earth aligns with the center of our galaxy. At this juntcure, we are supposed to get pulled into nothingness by a black hole, which is supposidly still active at the center of our galaxy.

As mentioned the 21st Dec 2012 is the dates the Mayan calander predicts. This is the date that they also predict the other planet in our Solar System, recently discovered, but known by the Sumerians as Nibiru will re-enter our solar system on its orbit. it will not cause a black hole, but I believe it will cause the Earth to flp on its axis, and cause the magnetic field of the earth to change, causing devastating floods. Like the Great Flood mentioned in all ancient texts.
Nostradamus predicted this date as a Red Army sweeping from the East. Interstingly the Planet nibiru is depicted as a red planet, and its approach will be signalled from the East. I plan being in the Alps when this occurs, avoid any possibility of it being true.

I know it's a bit 'anorakish' but the century did not end in 1999, The century (and millenium) actually ended at the end of 2000, so the first day of the new millenium was 01 January 2001.
