Sick dog

My lovely old friend was fine this morning and this afternoon but this evening he started to be sick. He has a touch of the runs as well. He's his bright and usual fluffy self but just chucking up.
He hasn't been sick for about 3 hours now so is it something I should worry about or leave him and see how he is in the morning?

He is a lot better today. He's eating and he hasn't been sick at all.
Unicorn1 I'm sorry u lost your dog but wouldn't that mean you could understand more when people say they are worried their dogs are ill.
I said in another thread I don't even want to think about the day I will have to make that dicision for my wonderful old boy and it worries me when he is ill because for the past ten years of his life he has never had any thing wrong. He is usually in very good health.
I know there are lots of animal lovers on here thats why I came here to ask.
I also know how many prats this place has and unfortunatrly it is the main reason why I have spent a lot of time away from here. But That person has gone so I'm back.
Again thank you all for your help and time and heres hoping he was just having an off day. He's under the bed in his favorite spot right now and listening to the rain on the window with me.

Glad to hear he's ok today Tiger;-). When your pets are old you're always terrified that them being sick,is the beginning of the end. Hope you've spoilt him massively today :-)

he's been in the bedroom with me all day. I'm confined myself at the moment with pain killers and he's been on the bed with me listening to the rain. He's had a few special dog chocos so he's very happy ty'
