The country seems rather split on the hunting issue - personally Idont feelstrongly about it but I seem to be a minority.

But Cameron has a history of going hunting himself, has described the ban in very unfavourable terms but is not actually committing himself to overturning it.

Just to offer a free vote

Is he cared of the anti-voting lobby or is he just being wishy-washy and not having the courage of his convictions - he was after all elected by his party to provide leadership - not free votes

And yet again I agree with Zeuhl (and Jake)

Too right Zeuhl. I have no time for any of them or the Countryside Alliance who purport to represent us country dwellers. It is not a country pursuit at all. A large proportion of those who hunt or follow the hunt come up from the big cities to enjoy their 'so called' sport.

No Jake I'm not saying it should be legal because it's almost impossible to enforce far from it. I think at the time I actually appluaded His Tonyness for finding a way of please both sides. He banned hunting thus please all the eco warrior/tree huggers and at the same time made it almost unenforceable pleasing the Hooray Henry types, genius! So everyone happy! Even Cameron I suspect!
