T.C Beech.----am a bit of a throw it all in person , but make this often----
Cut up beef into smallish pieces and fry gently in a small amount of oil until sealed and brown.
Put to one side.
prepare what veg you have , carrot , onion ,mushrooms, peppers and chop into small cubes.
Fry in frying pan with oil a little until veggies begin to soften.
Put veggies in slow cooker , meat on top , herbs if you wish. I use mixed herbs and a touch of rosemary.
Make up the stock, sufficient to cover the stuff in the cooker.
Stock can be made from , water and oxos, beef gravy powder, or beef stock cubes.
Give the whole thing a blast for an hour on high setting , then on low overnight.
Just check that before to go to bed there is enough liquid in the pot and the food is covered
On low for 6-8 hours.
Give it a good stir from time to time.
Before serving salt and pepper to taste, if needed.
Serve with potatoes mashed , boiled or wedges and any other veg you choose.
Sorry cannot be more specific as to quantities because i generally only cook for myself.
Regards .Brenda.
