I have just replaced the ink cartridges in my printer with re-manufactured ones. My question is, why do the printed photos come out with ' stripes' on them? Also, there is a scratching sound coming from the printer..Do I need a new one? This one is getting on a bit...John.

and a re-alignment. Print a test page and change what needs to be changed. Actually, it might not be classed as a test page, but you should have an option to check for continuous lines, etc.
