Do you text a lot - does it annoy you - could you not do without it. I personally think its great - you can get a quick message across without a big conversation

Yes a lot as well as a lot of gabbing down the blower, Txting like typing offers you the chance to send Jokes, hard hitting messages and double meanings that otherwise wouldn't make as much sense if you vocalised it.

I don't text a lot, usually just to confirm arrangements with friends. I don't see the point of phoning people if I'm going to be seeing them later.

you can always make up for abreviation by adding an extra b in the middle of the word, JJ

text speak really annoys me esp when people use it on FB as well

that xtra "b" can turn ur 1 txt into 2 txts

that wd cost an xtra 12p !
