Can we have at look at this story:

http://www.timesonlin...nd/article6934226.ece

and ask why those who would rush to their keyboards condemning this young man, had he been black or Muslim, have been noticablevin their silence?

Is this story only horrific, when it's an 'honour killing'?

Perhaps before I answer that, perhaps you should first start to act like a friend.

Then and only then, I am quite prepared to accept you as one of my many friends.

In the meantime I wait in anticipation for that list.

I didn't mention you by name - birdie1971 did. I only responded to his post.

"Well for sp's and others benefit I equally condemn any such savage and vicious crimes no matter what race or religion the perpetrators belong to"

Really - well, this thread has been open for 13.5 hours now, and you still haven't.

R1Geezer - I use the example of honour killing because that subject is leapt upon by individuals with an axe to grind against Muslims.

But they are conspicious by their silence, when an equally horrific/disgusting/brutal/savage crime is committed by someone white.

Why is that?

AOG - any idea?

Beg your pardon...didn't read all of your post.

Well done on condemning him. But please don't use such racist language. He's a brutal savage...you don't have to prefix it with 'White'.
sp the article, tho horrific, is interrnal domestic violence.

Honour killing is quite different; perpetrated by members/friends of the extended family.
There has not been silence, at least not from me. I believe I drew a valid distinction between the cases.

I accept your apology, now don't you think how silly it makes you look, when you rush in to condemn me, without first reading my posts.

/// But please don't use such racist language. He's a brutal savage...you don't have to prefix it with 'White'.///

I particularly added the prefix "White" solely for your benefit, because I needed to prove to you that the word savages is not solely a description for Blacks, when they also commit a savage crime.

Also If I had failed to enter this prefix, you would soon had been down on me, so sorry to spoil your fun.

///But they are conspicious by their silence, when an equally horrific/disgusting/brutal/savage crime is committed by someone white.///

Your concern was about Muslims, why did you need to mention whites? "Committed by someone else other than a Muslim" would have been quite adequate.

You have proved my point that you are racist against whites.

We've already established that I am not racist against whites. It's a laughable suggestion. You know itand Iknow it. I'm marrying a white bloke next year, whom I've been with for ten years. My two best men are white, and my kid sister's fella is white and the colour of his skin means nothing to me.

You, however, categorize the world by skin tone. Had this story been about a Muslim or black man you would've rushed to post a question condemning him.

You know this, and many others on the AB community know this. The evidence is there on the volume of anti-black/Muslim posts you've contributed.

Not saying that you SHOULDN'T air you views - but you should be honest when we make inferences from them.
